It is God's Will to Heal All Men All the Time
A personal note: In my previous post, My Gilgal, I wanted you to know that Gilgal means "circle". I had come full circle from a point where I got off God's plan for me and where God led me to get back on the path.

As I told you in the Introduction and Testimony, before retirement in 2005, I developed a constant pain in my left shoulder and arm. After a trip to the doctor with no relief, I turned to quoting Scripture and standing for my healing for my shoulder and arm. Neither began to manifest healing. Why was God and Scripture not working for me? The issue, Is its God’s will to heal?, kept coming up.
The thought kept coming to my mind, “What does the Bible teach about healing?” The Holy Spirit led me to do a word study on “healing” and “health” using Young’s Concordance and my Bible. This study was a turning point for me concerning my healing.
The word study was conclusive for me. It is God’s will for all men to be healed all the time. Healing is part of salvation. On the Cross Jesus Christ had taken off me: the wrath of God, sins, sicknesses, poverty, and more. He had given to me: His peace with God, forgiveness of my sins, healing of my spirit, soul, and body, His riches, and more. Jesus had redeemed me from the curse of the law. Jesus did all these things for not only me but for all men. The reason why a person does not receive all Jesus has done for them is that they do not choose to accept Jesus and what He did for them.
After my study, I felt led by the Holy Spirit to trust God and His word for my healing. I began to renew my mind with God’s Word on healing. As I continued to quote these verses and listen to my healing tapes, I would be obedient to the direction of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word. I began to see changes inside and out - “signs and wonders.”
It took about nine months for my shoulder and arm to manifest my total healing. The Word of God made it happen. The doctor never saw it again.
Tradition and wrong teaching has told us that God is trying to teach us something through sickness/disease, or God has some mysterious reason for taking a person home early, or that miracles left with the apostles. These are the devil’s lies, a person’s way of justifying their ignorance of the Word of God, or not accepting their responsibility for not studying the Word of God to find out truth that will set them free. The Word of God clearly teaches that it is God’s will to heal all the people all the time. Since God is no respecter of persons, healing like forgiveness of sins, prosperity, a new creation, sonship are for everyone. Like everything pertaining to God and His Word, a person has a choice-to believe (have faith) in God and His Word and receive or to not believe and not receive. Jesus never told a person who came to Him for healing that He would not heal them. It was always Jesus’ will to heal.
The following Scriptures provide a Biblical foundation showing that God is able and it is His will to heal all people all the time. God wants us to have abundant life. Sickness is not included in abundant life.
(The prophet Isaiah prophesized of the Messiah’s work when He came to earth.) “Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses) and carried our sorrows (pain); yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” Isa 53:4-5
(In Matthew we find the Bible being a commentary about itself.) “When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying; “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.”” Matt 8:16-17
(Jesus made it very clear to the leper that it was His will to heal him. God is no respecter of persons.) “And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “ I am willing; be cleaned.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” Matt 8:2-4
(Peter showed that when sin is remove and righteousness comes in all other problems have to leave.) “…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness –by whose stripes you were healed.” I Pet 2:24
(In Psalms 103 we see the word “all”. All means everyone.) “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all you diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Ps 103:1-5
Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them. So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel. Matt 15:31-32
“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Act 10:38
It is every person's choice to believe or not believe. If you doubt, you do without. If you believe, you will receive.
