Oil for Healing

Oil for Healing is provided to inform and encourage a person to let God have His way in healing the whole body. Jesus Christ paid for our healing. We must accept, believe, and take our healing. It is ours. The devil can not take anything that is not given to him.

If you have questions, please make comments. Blessings, Tom Johnson

Forgiveness is a must in healing

Mark 11:25 says, "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your tresspasses."

In Christ, God has already made provisions for your forgiveness and His forgetting of our trespasses. When we do not do what He says to do about forgiveness, we, not God, shut out His gift in Christ of forgiveness.

Jehovah Rapha - The LORD is my Healer

In the first chapter of Genesis, God give us His first name, Elohim = One who is in Covenant Relationship. This is the only named for God used in the 1st chapter of Genesis. God wants us to know that He does all things for and through man through covenant relationships. In Genesis 2 the second name for God is revealed, Jehovah = LORD = I Am Who I Am. In the 15th chapter of Exodus God reveals His name Jehovah Rapha, I am the LORD that heals you. Jehovah Rapha is a covenant name for God. Jesus died to give us a better covenant. Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, and I Peter 2:24 tell us that God sent Jesus to redeem us from the curse, to heal us of all sickness, disease, pain, and infirmities, to make us whole spirit, soul and body.

God is Jehovah Rapha. When a person accepts Jesus as Savior and LORD, God's covenant relationship with that person in Christ is they are healed. Accept, believe, and act who you are in Christ. In Christ you are healed. You have the authority to not accept and to drive out symptoms (intruders). Jesus has already takened them off of you. You are healed.

Walking With God

In Deuteronomy Moses, just before his death, is giving the Israelites a summary of all God has said and done from them. In Deuteronomy 13:1-4 Moses tells the Israelites that if they run into a situation where someone is telling them to following other gods except the one true God, they are to not listen to the person. God has constantly told them to serve the only Him, the One True God. God will use the false prophet to test them to see what is in their heart, whether they will love God will all their heart and soul. Then Moses tells us how were are to walk with God.

We are to walk after the LORD your God...
...We are to fear (reverance)Him
...We are to hear and obey Him
...We are to serve Him and hold fast to Him.

Due Season/Appointed Time

Galatians 6:9 says, "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." What is the last thing God told you to do? "Doing good" is the last thing God told you to be doing. Keep doing it until what you are believing for or God tells you to do something else. "For in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." God's Word says you shall reap in due season if you do not lose heart and quit. This is important with any thing that God tells you to do. The promise of manifested healing will come if you will continue to do what God tells you to do and not quit.

James 1:2-4 tells us that time between the promise and the manifestation of the promise is a time of proving of our faith. We need to be agreeing with God in every word we say during the proving of our faith period. The Word of God will be growing during this time in our hearts and finally there will come a point, due season/appointed time, when what we were promised will manifest itself. Because we will be perfect and complete lacking nothing.

Don't quit. Keep on keeping on. The promise is that in due season we SHALL receive our healing if we do not lose heart or quit. When your faith is proved, you WIN!

The Word of God is the Basis for All God Does

I was talking with a good friend of mine. We were talking about healing. He said that he had a personal experience with healing where God healed him and he did not believe in healing. I have also had experiences where Godly people were not healed. I asked God about it and He said that I can't know what is in another person's heart. Experience is a terrible way of interpreting the Word of God. The only ways to interpret the Word of God is the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit's job is to lead us into all truth.

The Word of God and faith with action are the ways that God operates. Sowing and reaping is the way of the Kingdom of God. Ignorance of the Word of God keeps us from understanding God and His ways. Just because we do not understand why we experienced what we experienced does not mean the Word of God or lack of the Word of God did not cause the results.

For example, Matthew 9:20-21 tells about a woman with an flow of blood. She had gone to doctors and had spent all of her money. She was desperate. She came up behind Jesus and touched the hem of His garment. "For she said to herself, "If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well." Jesus said to her, "Your faith has made you well." It does not tell that she heard the Word of God. Yet Jesus told her she had faith (which comes from the Word of God) to receive her healing. What happened. Experience might say that she got healed without the Word of God. If you go to Malachi 4:2, you find a prophesy about the Messiah. "But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves." The lady had heard this and knew if she could only touch the hem of His garment which was a prayer shawl with tassels (wings) on the bottom, she would be healed. Any time we have a need we can look to Jesus, He is God's source for every need.

Hear and Obey - There is no other way!

As I walk with God, I have found that He is constantly reminding me to hear His Word and obey His Word to get the results that His Word promises me. Jeremiah 33 tells about Israel's obedience and disobedience. God tells us how to get healed or prosper. It is up to us to hear and obey what He says. When we do not hear and obey, we get the results that He tells us we will get. Disobedience gets disobedience results. Obedience gets obedience results. God's love and grace are CONSTANTLY trying to get us into obedience. Jeremiah 33 says that God is constantly wanting to bless us. Obedience to God and His Word are the only way to the blessings of God.

What do I do if I am disobedient? I John 1:9 tells us that if we confess our sins that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We are to repent and turn to the right ways. God's way!

God Wants ALL of You Well

Isaiah 53:4-5, Mattthew 8:16-17, I Peter 2:24 tell us that Jesus took our sicknesses, diseases, pains, infirmities on Himself on the Cross. When He took them on Himself, He took them off of us. The devil tries to tell us differently and make us think differently. When we stand in agreement with God (firm in our faith) that "by His stripes we were healed", the symptoms have to flee. Also, "were" is past tense. That means that we are healed because we were healed.

Awesome News from God my Father

I wanted to share with you this morning some awesome news. For about 9-12 months, I have been following God's direction to defeat an attack on my vocal cords. A little over a week ago, I begin to hear the manifestion of my healing. In the last four days the full manifestation of my healing has been completed. God has shown me again that He and His Word are true and faithful. God wants His people well to serve Him. It is absolutely God's will to heal all people.

Some highlights of my fight of faith are as follows:

1) Make God your only source for every decision you make and action you take.
2) Daily put yourself and you problems/situations/decisions in God's hands
3) Hear the Holy Spirit's directions and immediately obey them. Daily He will give you fresh (Manna = Word of God to obey)
4) Any thing that you do you must do in faith. If God tells you to stand on His Word alone for your healing, ask God on which of His Words are you to stand. Then stand in faith. If He tells you to go to the doctor, go to the doctor in faith. God does not operate according to our needs or wants. God operates through faith.
5) One more thing to remember, you must destroy all doubt, unbelief, and fear that is around you. Use do this through the Word of God. Light drives out darkness. God called a fast for me that has greatly helped me with doubt and unbelief.

God promises us that He will never leave me/you nor forsake me/you. I give God all the glory.

God Says He Has Provided Healing for All - Part I

III John 2 says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." John wrote to his "beloved Gaius" that is was God's will for him to prosper in all things and be in health. Since God is no respecter of persons (Romans 2:11 and Act 10:34), God want all to prosper in all things and be in health.

God sent Jesus Christ to save the whole world. The problem - unless a person accepts what God has done for them by Christ, they will never receive what Christ did for them. Isaiah 53:4-5 and Matthew 8:16-17 (comments on Isaiah 53:4-5) tells us what Jesus (the Messiah)was sent to do for us. Jesus purchased our forgiveness of sins, peace with God and healing of our spirit, soul, and body.

It is absolutely God's will for all who will accept Jesus Christ and all that He did for us to be healed.

Healing is for All - Ther is no partiality with God!

Romans 2:11 and Acts 10:34 tells us that "God shows no partiality." He treats every person the same. God is Jehovah - He is who He is. God never changes. Jesus came to show us what God is like. Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." So God is the same forever. If He will heal one, He will heal all. God is Jehovah Rapha = The Lord that heals you. It is a covenant name of God. God never changes.

Do not look at your experiences when you think about healing. Look at the Word of God. Hebrews 12:3 says that we are to consider Jesus. God tells us that through faith and patience Abraham inherited the promises. We through faith (believe and act on God's Word)and never deviating from what we believe and say (patience = unswerving constancy)we will inherit our promises. Stand fast with God. He is faithful. Don't quit!!!
