Faith and Patience
Hebrews 10:35-39 says that we must not cast away our confidence which has great reward. We need patience, so that after we do the will of God we will receive God's promise to us. It goes on say that it may take a little while but it will come and will not tarry. The just shall live by faith. If we draw back from faith, we will not please God.
James 1:2-4 tells us to count it all joy when we run into problem situations. This is an opportunity to prove our faith. The testing (proving)of our faith works (hires) patience (unswerving constancy). When we let patience (unswerving constancy) have its perfect work, we will become perfect and complete lacking nothing. The just shall live by faith. Patience will work with our faith to affirm it and make it complete.
Unswerving constancy is saying the same thing God says over and over again until our faith is perfect and complete lacking nothing.
